If Alex Gonzalez had any doubt he would be welcomed in his new clubhouse, that fear was alleviated when he got to Turner Field.
Gonzalez got a standing ovation from his new teammates when he walked through the door around 4 pm Thursday afternoon.
Obviously, it was an indication the Braves players are happy with the acquisition the team made Wednesday when Gonzalez replaced Yunel Escobar as the Atlanta shortstop.
Gonzalez went 1-3 in Thursday
