New Mexico State too much for Prairie View

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Four New Mexico State players scored in double figures, including Sim Bhullar who blocked a school-record 10 shots, as New Mexico State rolled to its seventh consecutive victory 91-60 over Prairie View A&M on Wednesday night.

Bhullar, a 7-foot-5 sophomore, scored 11 points to go along with his record-setting nights of blocks. The Aggies had a team-record 14 blocks.

Daniel Mullings scored 17 points to lead the Aggies (7-1), off to their best start since the 2002-2003 season. DK Eldridge added 16 points, and KC Ross-Miller had 11.

The Panthers (1-5), who lost their fourth in a row, were led by Louis Munks with 18 points.

The Aggies led by 27 at halftime and by as many 39 in the second half. They outscored the Panthers 44-14 in the paint, though Prairie View held its own the boards, edged 44-40 in rebounds.

The Aggies made 31 of 44 free throws.
