New Mexico State pulls out 96-87 win in overtime

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) -- Troy Gillenwater scored a career-high 34 points to lead New Mexico State to a 96-87 overtime victory against Boise State on Thursday night.
Hernst Laroche also scored a career-best 24 points for the Aggies (11-11, 5-3 WAC) while Tyrone Watson added 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
La'Shard Anderson led the Broncos (12-8, 5-3) with 21 points as Tre Nichols scored 18 and Daequon Montreal 15.
Gillenwater scored the Aggies' first seven points of overtime and put them up for good on a three-point play with 3:21 left.
The Aggies hit all five field goal tries and went 13-for-13 from the line to outscore Boise State 23-14 in overtime.
The final score was the highest of the season for the Aggies, who shot 51.8 percent from the floor and outrebounded Boise State 44-34.
