TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Nevada's star dual-threat quarterback, junior Cody Fajardo, did not dress for Saturday's game at No. 9 Florida State.

Fajardo sprained his right knee in the 36-7 win over UC Davis on Sept. 7. The junior is the driving force of Nevada's pistol offense, throwing for 403 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 142 yards this season.

In 2012, Fajardo was one of just five quarterbacks in the Football Bowl Subdivision to pass for more than 2,000 yards and run for more than 1,000 yards.

Junior Devin Combs started in his place. Combs has thrown just nine passes this season.
