Nebraska beats TCU 70-56 for 6th straight victory

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Lance Jeter scored five of his 15 points during a key 18-3 second-half run and Nebraska defeated TCU 70-56 Saturday.
Toney McCray also had 15 points and Jorge Brian Diaz added 13 for the Cornhuskers (8-2), who won their sixth straight.
Ronnie Moss led the Horned Frogs (7-4) with 14 points and Garlon Green had 13.
Nebraska trailed 42-41 before Drake Beranek hit two free throws and a 3-pointer to start the run. After 3-pointer from McCray, Jeter hit a 3 and added a driving layup off a steal to put the Cornhuskers up 54-45.
Beranek's layup capped the run, and Nebraska led 59-45 with 6:35 to play.
TCU got no closer than 11 the rest of the game.
