RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Matt Bergquist had the go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning that helped North Carolina State beat Vanderbilt 6-5 on Sunday night in the Raleigh Regional.

Trea Turner drove in two runs for the top-seeded Wolfpack (42-18), who avenged Saturday night's loss to the second-seeded Commodores (35-27). The teams will meet again Monday night to determine the regional champion.

Reliever Ryan Wilkins (4-2) earned the win by allowing one hit in two scoreless innings.

Bergquist had five hits in two games Sunday, including six RBIs in the 17-5 elimination win against UNC Wilmington earlier Sunday.

Vanderbilt rallied from a five-run deficit in the last two innings of Saturday's win against N.C. State, then rallied from a 5-1 deficit to tie it on an RBI double by Anthony Gomez in the seventh.

Drew VerHagen (6-3) took the loss, allowing five hits and two runs in four innings of relief.
