FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Former Northern Arizona offensive lineman Trey Gilleo and cornerback Devin Willis signed free-agent NFL contracts following the NFL draft.

Gilleo signed with the New York Jets, while Willis was picked up by the Green Bay Packers.

“We are really proud and happy for Trey and Devin to get a chance to continue their careers in the NFL,” NAU head coach Jerome Souers said. “Both of them were fantastic student-athletes that meant a great deal to our program. They are two quality athletes and men, and we wish them the best.”

A native of Kingman, Gilleo started 33 NAU games at right tackle over his final three seasons as a Lumberjack and also started in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game in January. He was a second-team All-Big Sky selection and the leader of the offensive line that blocked for Walter Payton Award finalist Zach Bauman, who rushed for 1,182 yards last season.

Willis, from Miami, Fla, was a transfer from Palomar College who started 11 games and earned Big Sky honorable mention honors.

He tied for the team lead with six pass breakups and had 41 tackles, including 32 solo tackles, and one interception.
