The Northern Arizona soccer teeam hopes to remain unbeaten on the season as it hosts a pair of non-conference foes this weekend in games that can be seen on FOX Sports Arizona Plus.
The Lumberjacks (3-0-2) host Grand Canyon (1-4-0) on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Colorado State (1-3-0) on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
NAU has given up just one goal in its last three games, and senior goalkeeper Lauren Weaver has an 0.55 goals against average. Senior Alana D'Onofrio was named this week's Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week after helping NAU hold UNLV scoreless for 110 minutes last week. The Lumberjacks have scored six goals in five games, with six different players putting the ball in the back of the net. Savannah Berry has one goal, one assist and a team-leading nine shots.
Grand Canyon is in its first season competing in the Division I Western Athletic Conference.
