Xavier and Miami will face off Wednesday night on the hardwood Wednesday night, but first the southwest Ohio neighbors will get together tonight to share some holiday cheer with some Cincinnati families.

Xavier head coach Chris Mack told the Cincinnati Enquirer he sees the event as a great opportunity for both programs to give back to the community.
"We all have a lot to be thankful for."
Per the Enquirer, the Avondale Comprehensive Development Corporation is coordinating the event, which will have the teams handing out vouchers families can redeem Thursday at Gabriel's Place in the Cincinnati neighborhood.
The game Wednesday night at the Cintas Center will be the 100th between the two teams and be broadcast nationally on FOX Sports 1. The Musketeers own the series lead 52-47 and have won the last four meetings at the Cintas Center.
The teams have split the last two meetings with Xavier winning 66-60 in Cincinnati in November 2011 and the RedHawks winning 75-64 in Oxford in 2010.
Miami has not won at Xavier since a 66-54 win Nov. 22, 2004.
