Mother Nature postpones yet another Twins game

MINNEAPOLIS — Mother Nature has once again defeated the Minnesota Twins.
Monday's game against the Miami Marlins at Target Field has been postponed due to inclement weather as snow is expected Monday night in the Twin Cities. Monday's game will be played Tuesday as part of a split day-night doubleheader.
The first game Tuesday, originally scheduled for 12:10 p.m., will now take place at 1:10 p.m. The second game of the double-header is scheduled to start at 7:10 p.m. Kevin Correia will start Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader, while Mike Pelfrey will start Game 2.
This marks the third game at Target Field this season that has already been postponed due to weather. The Twins' game last Sunday against the Mets was postponed, as was Wednesday's game against the Angels. A game on Friday between Minnesota and Chicago was also postponed due to weather.
Including scheduled days off and four postponed games, the Twins (8-7) have now played just four games in the last nine days. Minnesota's 15 games played are the fewest in Major League Baseball.
Tickets for Monday's game can be used for admission to Tuesday night's rescheduled game, or can be exchanged for any future Twins regular-season ticket in 2013.
