CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) -- Stephen Morris will make his third straight start at quarterback for Miami on Saturday, when the 24th-ranked Hurricanes try to remain in the Atlantic Coast Conference race against No. 14 Virginia Tech.

Morris became the starter when Jacory Harris was sidelined with a concussion against Virginia last month. Harris will practice somewhat this week, but still has not been completely cleared for contact.

Morris has completed 28 of 48 passes for 516 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions in his two starts, winning both. Miami has racked up more than 500 yards of offense in those games.

The Hurricanes need a win over Virginia Tech to keep alive their chance of winning the conference's Coastal Division.
