Moline stars for UA women's track

Arizona junior Georganne Moline set a school record and recorded the fifth-best time in the world this year in winning the 400-meter hurdles at the Pac-12 Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., with a time of 55.12 seconds.
Moline's Olympic "A" qualifying time helped Arizona's women's team to a third-place finish at the conference championship. Arizona's men also played third. The Wildcats won six individual events.
On the men’s side, Oregon won its sixth consecutive vonference title with 140 points. Arizona State took second with 116.50 points, followed by Arizona (94), UCLA (86) and Stanford (78).
Oregon also repeated as women's champions for the fourth consecutive year with 200.5 points, followed by Stanford (124.5), Arizona (94.5), USC (91) and ASU (85).
“I love what we did,” Arizona coach Fred Harvey said. “We came back and fought really hard, they came out today and fought like Wildcats and got this thing done. We had some tremendous performances and ended up third on both sides, which is always a good showing in the best conference that there is in the country. As a team, collectively, we did really a good job of keeping everybody accountable, supporting one another and giving us some momentum going into the NCAA Championships.”
Arizona junior Brigetta Barrett repeated as high jump champion by clearing 6 feet, 4.25 inches. The Arizona women also won the 4x400 relay, as the team of Shapri Romero, Echos Blevins, Tamara Pridgett and Moline recorded a time of 3:31.85, sixth best in the country. Junior Alyssa Hasslen had a pair of second-place finishes in the shot put and discus.
For the men, sophomore Lawi Lalang won the 1,500 meters in a time of 3:47.33. Lalang earlier finished third in the 5,000 meters, and teammate Stephen Sambu placed first in the 10,000 meters and second in the 5,000.
Nick Ross won the men's high jump and placed third in the triple jump and long jump.
