ST. LOUIS -- Wide receiver T.J. Moe's hopes of making the Rams' roster were dashed Monday when he was among the Rams' first round of roster cuts.

Moe, a former star at Fort Zumwalt West and Mizzou, signed with the Rams as a free agent this offseason. He was injured last preseason before getting a chance to play with the New England Patriots but had been hoping to restart his NFL career with the Rams.

Moe saw limited action in three preseason games, catching one pass for four yards.

The Rams waived 10 players, including Moe. The others were cornerback Jarrid Bryant, punter Bobby Cowan, offensive tackle R.J. Dill, wide receiver Jordan Harris, long snapper Jorgen Hus, fullback Kadeem Jones, linebacker Johnny Millard, offensive tackle D.J. Morrell and linebacker Pat Schiller. Schiller was waived/injured.

With 79 players on their roster, the Rams must make four additional moves to trim their roster to 75 players by 3 p.m. CT Tuesday. Final roster cuts to 53 players must be made by Saturday afternoon.
