Morales ended Vancouver’s protracted scoring drought six minutes before halftime by converting a penalty procured by Waston. The burly center back then registered the second after 56 minutes by eluding Victor Bernárdez and nodding home Morales’ precise corner kick. The home side saw out the remainder of the affair to secure its second victory in 11 attempts.
