After closing out the 2017 season with four straight sellouts at TCF Bank Stadium, Minnesota United FC will look to make it five in a row to kick off 2018.

The Loons open the 2018 season with a home match Saturday, March 17 against the Chicago Fire, MLS announced Thursday.

Other highlights include a "Pride" match against FC Dallas on June 29, a meeting with reigning champion Toronto FC on July 4 and a "Kick Childhood Cancer" match against the Portland Timbers on Sept. 22.

United is set to take on L.A. Galaxy on Oct. 21 for "Fan Appreciation Night," its final regular-season game at TCF Bank Stadium. The Loons are set to move to Allianz Field in St. Paul for the 2019 season.
