Mizzou's Pressey signs with Celtics

ST. LOUIS - Phil Pressey might have been passed over
on draft night, but it didn’t take long for the 5-foot-11 point guard to
find a home in the NBA.
According to Yahoo's Adrian
Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics signed the Mizzou floor general shortly
after the conclusion of Thursday night's NBA Draft.
Phil Pressey, often maligned for his spotty in-game
decision making, averaged 11.9 points and 7.1 assists per game for the
Tigers last season.
Pressey should have some
familiarity with his new team, as his father, a former NBA player
himself, was an assistant coach for the Celtics from 2004-2006.
