
Miss Double d'Oro rallies to win Arboretum II at Santa Anita

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Miss Double d'Oro rallied from last to win the $75,000 Arboretum II Stakes by a half-length Friday at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Santiago Gonzalez, Miss Double d'Oro ran 6 1/2 furlongs on the hillside turf course in 1:13.98 and paid $23, $6 and $3.80.
Dreamologist returned $2.80 and $2.20 as the 3-5 favorite in the field of nine older fillies and mares. Tesalina was another half-length back in third and paid $3.20 to show.
The victory, worth $47,700, increased Miss Double d'Oro's career earnings to $155,950, with three wins in 10 starts for owner Calumet Farm. The 4-year-old Kentucky-bred filly is trained by Hall of Famer Neil Drysdale.
