Miller shines for Heat against Raptors

For one night, it was all better. The questions about "everybody else" were squashed for the time being. Heat swingman Mike Miller (32 points, 10 rebounds) saw to that.

"I got it going a little bit," he said after Saturday's 120-103 victory over Toronto.

Miller's 22-point second quarter was a thing of beauty. It helped ease the losses of forward Chris Bosh (ankle) and guard Dwyane Wade (migraine) and end Miami's four-game losing streak.

"We need him to look for his shots," forward LeBron James said on Miller.

Yes, it helped that lowly Toronto (13-31, six-game losing streak) was in town. It helped greatly. Because this wasn't exactly the type of stirring effort that makes you think the Heat "have enough," which is the term coach Erik Spoelstra and his players use. It wasn't the type of game where you walk away thinking, "Yeah, the Heat could definitely beat Boston, San Antonio or the Lakers in a best-of-seven."

But for a team that is comprised of "three starters and nine subs"
