Mike Wallace didn’t ‘feel like talking’ about one-catch performance with reporters
By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com Mike Wallace had nothing to say after being a virtual decoy in Sunday’s win against the Browns. Wallace, who signed a five-year, $60 million deal in March, was limited to one reception for 15 yards while going up against Browns cornerback Joe Haden. Clearly, he wasn’t happy and he didn’t want to talk about it either. "I don't want to talk. I don't feel like talking about it," Wallace said, via The Palm Beach Post. "Ask Coach. It's not my game plan." While Browns defenders were giving Wallace plenty of attention, it allowed wide receivers Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson to combine for 16 receptions and 191 yards. Ryan Tannehill related with Wallace’s frustrations after the game. "I've been there playing receiver back in the day when the defense takes you away and it's frustrating," said Tannehill, who played wide receiver with Texas A&M. "But by them taking him away it really opened up Gibson and Hartline to make plays."
