Mike Shanahan loves how hard RG3 is working

The Redskins head coach loves Robert Griffin III's effort so much, he says he'll "set a record for coming back." Shanahan sat down for an interview with Kimberly Jones of the NFL Network and discussed how his franchise quarterback is doing in his recovery. Some interesting tidbits: 1. RG3 will definitely return to 100 percent health, it's just a matter of when. 2. The Redskins are preparing just in case Griffin isn't ready to go by the fall. Which means, backup QB Kirk Cousins will get first-team reps during offseason workouts. 3. Shahanan doesn't plan on altering the way his team calls plays, but he's definitely going to stress to RG3 how important it is to slide and avoid taking dangerous hits.
