Micromanage rallies from last to win Jazil Stakes at Aqueduct

Micromanage rallied in the mud to beat Turco Bravo by three-quarters of a length Monday in the $100,000 Jazil Stakes for his second straight stakes victory at Aqueduct.

This was the seventh win in 24 starts for the 5-year-old trained by Todd Pletcher. Micromanage also captured the Queens County Stakes last month.

The trailer in the six-horse field for most of the race, Micromanage and jockey Manuel Franco split rivals turning for home. The winner completed the mile, 70 yards in 1:41.01.

Micromanage, coupled in the betting with fourth-place finisher Misconnect as the 3-5 favorites, paid $3.30, $2.10 and $2.10. Turco Bravo returned $6.30 and $4.40 while Irsaal paid $3.30 to show.
