Michael Vick and Alex Smith Both Leave With Concussions [WATCH]

It's been a bad afternoon for NFC quarterbacks, as both Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Michael Vick and San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Alex Smith have been knocked out of their respective games with concussions. To be fair, it was really only a matter of time before Mike Vick ended up the subject of a concussion story, but he took two blows to the head on consecutive plays, starting the Nick Foles era in Philly. Funny enough, the backup to Foles is Jason Avant, a wide receiver who is inactive today.
In San Francisco, Alex Smith had an unfortunate slide that resulted in a knock on the head. He stayed in the game for a 12 play scoring drive, but afterwards left for the locker room and stayed there. Colin Kaepernick, second year quarterback, is in for Smith. Want more? Get more at Cosby Sweaters!
