The University of Miami announced on Tuesday it will play a home-and-home series against the Cincinnati Bearcats during the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
Miami will host Cincinnati at Sun Life Stadium next year before traveling to Nippert Stadium the following season. The Hurricanes and Bearcats have met 11 times, including a span of eight straight years during the 1980s, but 2014 will mark the first contest since 1998 -- a 38-12 Miami win in Cincinnati. Miami leads the series 10-1, having won 10 in a row. The teams first met in 1947 (20-7 Cincinnati win). Earlier this year, the Hurricanes scheduled a home-and-home series with Arkansas State, which begins with a 2014 home game. Miami will visit Jonesboro, Ark., for the second matchup in 2017. Cincinnati last played at Sun Life Stadium in 2009, losing to Virginia Tech 20-7 in the Orange Bowl.
