MILAN (AP) Heading into the swansong of his career, former NBA All-Star Metta World Peace says he is a changed man.
World Peace has signed for Pallacanestro Cantu, a move the Italian team called ''the coup of the century.''
Early in his career, the 35-year-old World Peace was known as much for his controversies as for his on-court talent, but he says that has changed.
World Peace, who was introduced to the media on Thursday, says ''I grew up playing basketball on the streets of New York City and it was very, very rough and I started playing in the NBA in the same way ... I always had the street mentality, but when you're older you get more mature.''
