Mets' Syndergaard apologizes for rise in 95 mph-plus pitches in MLB

New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard recorded 166 strikeouts in 150 innings in the 2015 regular season.

The man nicknamed "Thor" did this behind a fastball that is routinely tops 95 miles per hour.

According to Baseball Savant's PITCHfx, 1,421 of Syndergaard's 2,380 pitches registered at 95 mph or faster on the radar gun.
