Maybe Orioles just don't want All-Star Game bad enough?

Someday there will be another All-Star Game in Baltimore. Just not in the next few years, it looks like:
The Orioles have been viewed as the favorites to host the 2016 All-Star Game, but I'm told that it's not going to happen.
The club hasn't been officially notified, but a source says it won't be played at Camden Yards.
The Orioles last hosted the All-Star Game in 1993, one year after the ballpark opened. The 2015 All-Star Game will be played in Cincinnati, and the Nationals are expected to host it in 2017.
--snip--
The Blue Jays, Athletics and Rays are the only other American League teams that haven't hosted the game since 1993, and MLB doesn't figure to be in any hurry to showcase stadiums in Oakland and St. Petersburg.
As Craig Calcaterra points out, the Orioles are locked in litigation with Major League Baseball and the Washington Nationals.
As Craig also points out, it seems the San Diego Padres are now the favorites to host the 2016 All-Star Game. Which means three National League ballparks in a row, something we just don't expect to see.
Last summer the Padres announced SELIG HALL OF FAME PLAZA.
I'm sure all these facts are completely unrelated to one another.
