LONDON (AP) England has received another injury blow ahead of the Six Nations after winger Jonny May was ruled out of the rest of the season because of a left knee injury.

It is the third setback this week for new coach Eddie Jones, with locks Ed Slater (knee) and Dave Attwood (neck) also set to miss the tournament because of injury.

Props Kieran Brookes and Alex Corbisiero, flanker Dave Ewers, and centers Henry Slade and Manu Tuilagi were already set to miss all, or part, of the competition.

Gloucester said on Thursday that May underwent knee surgery after sustaining a ligament injury while playing in an English Premiership game last month.
