Athletes singing is funny because they, like most of us, are bad at it. But there is something extra funny about watching someone who is so good at one thing be so bad at another. This is part of what makes celebrity softball games so funny.
Now the Dallas Mavericks are singing Christmas songs. As you may know, the Mavericks' best player also happens to be German, his accent thus introducing a third layer of humor.
Dirk Nowitzki gives good effort, though, which is more than can be said for some of his teammates.
Either that, or O.J. Mayo really is that bad. We'll give MVP honors to Chris Kaman.
