Mavericks looking to bring back Pavlovic

With the like of Troy Murphy, Rasual Butler, and possibly Mike Bibby hitting the open market as post-trade deadline buyouts, the Mavericks are looking at bringing in a different, more familiar face to fill out their roster.
According to Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News, the Mavericks are working toward bringing back Sasha Pavolivc to add another shooter to their ranks. Pavlovic, 27, has already signed a pair of 10-day contracts with Dallas this season, meaning that the team must sign him for the rest of the season if they were to bring him back.
Still, that hardly seems like a deterrent to Mark Cuban, who confirmed that "[the Mavs] are leaning toward bringing back Sasha."
Pavlovic shot 44% from three-point range in his 10-game stint in Dallas earlier this season. He was not re-signed after the team acquired Peja Stojakovic via free agency, and ultimately signed a 10-day contract with New Orleans, but was not retained after its expiration.
