Mavericks go viral with Harlem Shake

The Dallas Mavericks were the first team in the NBA to tackle Gangnam Style.

So, of course, they are not about to let a little viral video known as the "Harlem Shake" to pass by without joining the fun themselves.

On Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks, the Mavericks debuted their latest viral video on the in-arena jumbotron at the American Airlines Center.

The video features the entire team, following the flow of the original viral video where a simple dance turns into a massive party when the line "Do the Harlem Shake" is said.

Dirk Nowitzki wears a "Blue Man Group" style face mask, Vince Carter a satin orange vest, puffy brown wig and over-sized glasses. Chris Kaman dons a blue mohawk, wields a blue balloon sword and Dahntay Jones does his best MC Hammer impression.

The viral video began in early February when a group of friends, dressed in ridiculous costumes, posted a video of themselves dancing to the song by Baauer.

After doing over a million views, others began posting their own version of the dance.  A quick search on YouTube shows millions of video views for these videos since the trend began just over a week ago.

And now, you can add the Dallas Mavericks to the list of the growing "Harlem Shake" trend.
