ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is appearing in two new commercials for DISH network while taking shots at rival DirecTV.
One is titled "Day Job" and has Stafford playing a surgeon with his fiance, Kelly Hall, as a nurse, who reminds him that his telescope is on hanging around his neck when he motions for it:
The other one includes animated fairies and is titled "Nightmare."

Stafford has gotten enough criticism this offseason so we'll refrain from commenting at this time.
