By Sam Gardner, FOXSports.com Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan seems to have a friend in referee Gene Steratore. Late in the first quarter of Sunday’s season opener against New Orleans, Ryan couldn’t connect with Julio Jones on third and goal from the Saints 5-yard line. Fortunately, Steratore was there to cheer Ryan up as he walked off the field. If that’s not an illegal touching penalty, I don’t know what is. (h/t @CJZero)
