Initially expected to be a bullpen by committee, Cincinnati Reds manager Dusty Baker said that Sean Marshall will officially close games.

"It's Marshall right now," Baker said on the team's website.

Marshall saved five games for the Chicago Cubs last season and seven in his major league career, all in Chicago.

The job opened up when Ryan Madson sustained a season-ending elbow injury.
