Marquette picks up commit from 2014 F Marial Shayok

A few hours after forward Jameel McKay's departure from the program was made official, Marquette picked up a verbal commitment from 2014 forward Marial Shayok.
Shayok, a three-star recruit according Scout.com, is Marquette's fourth verbal commitment in the class of 2014. The 6-foot-7, 210 pound small forward took an official visit to Marquette last week and announced his decision late Thursday night on Twitter.
"I'm happy to announce that I'm going to be playing for @TeamCoachBuzz at Marquette. Thanks to all family, friends and coaches."
Shayok helped Blair Academy to the New Jersey Prep A tournament finals, scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a 64-45 semifinal win.
Marquette has already received verbal commitments from forward Malek Harris, guard Sandy Cohen and guard Ahmed Hill, all top-100 recruits in the class of 2014.
The Golden Eagles still have one scholarship available for 2014 after McKay's decision to leave the school.
