Campaign season is in full force for the Miami Marlins as they try to get third baseman Casey McGehee to next week's All-Star Game.

McGehee was left off the National League roster but is one of five players up for the Final Vote that goes through Thursday.

Teammates wore shirts during Monday's batting practice at Chase Field with his name and number on the back and #VoteHitsMcGehee on the front.

The 31-year-old entered Monday's series opener against the Diamondbacks with the best average (.320), most RBI (53) and top fielding percentage (.983) among NL third basemen. He has hit cleanup behind Giancarlo Stanton, who earned his second All-Star selection.

McGehee has also garnered support from the Houston Astros, who have teamed up with the Marlins to support him and their righty Dallas Keuchel. McGehee's 2013 team in Japan, the Rakuten Golden Eagles, has even tweeted.

#GoBeardOrGoHome has joined #HitsMcGehee as a social media trending topic. Fans may visit marlins.com/finalvote to vote an unlimited number of times until 4 p.m. ET.
