Marlins announce 2014 Spring Training schedule

The Marlins announced on Monday morning that pitchers and catchers will report for Spring Training on Feb. 16, with the first full-squad workout set for Feb. 20.

Miami's schedule, which includes 19 games at Roger Dean Stadium, will be the organization's 12th year in Jupiter.

The Marlins will play 33 exhibition games, starting on Feb. 26 against the University of Miami. They will also host Florida International University the next day before beginning Grapefruit League action on Feb. 28 against the Cardinals.

Overall, Miami will play 31 Grapefruit League games, with home contests against the Cardinals (three times), Mets (three times), Nationals (twice), Astros (twice), Twins (March 4), Red Sox (March 6), Tigers (March 9) and Braves (March 12).
