Manny Ramirez rocks grandma hat to hide identity

Even without his classic dreadlocks, Manny Ramirez is still a very recognizable figure in baseball.
Apparently after 20 autograph requests in the early hours of the morning in an airport, his Triple-A Round Rock Express teammates needed to find a way to get Ramirez through the airport uninterrupted.
Naturally, they went for the pink grandma hat in the gift shop in an attempt to hide his identity.

Did it work? Nobody is sure without a follow up tweet, but at least Ramirez’s clothing choice for the start of the Rangers minor league team’s road trip was tame by his standards at least, which alone could help conceal him.
One thing is for certain, Manny somehow manages to pull off the grandma look. If Superman can throw on a pair of glasses to become Clark Kent, the hat might be enough to throw fans off Ramirez’s trail.
Manny's disguise brings back memories of a team train ride during his recent stint in the Chinese Professional Baseball League.

The Rangers organization probably should get used to "Manny being Manny."
Or should we say, "Manny being Granny."
