Magic thinks Rockets are the best fit for Howard

The NBA season isn't even officially over and one of the main topics thus far has been this: where will Dwight Howard land in the offseason? The Lakers, Rockets, Mavericks, and even the Spurs are supposedly the places the star center is considering.
Howard probably doesn't even know where he will land, but former Laker star Magic Johnson has his own opinion on where he should go, and the answer will probably surprise you.
"I think Dwight Howard probably will make the best decision possible for him," Johnson said Wednesday on a media conference call. "I would say that he probably would enjoy playing for (Rockets coach) Kevin McHale because coach McHale was a Hall of Fame player and, I feel, with Tim Duncan, the best power forward that has ever played the game."
Johnson went on to elaborate that the combination of James Harden, Omer Asik, Jeremy Lin and Chandler Parsons would qualify as a genuine contender.
"With Dwight Howard, (Houston) would take the next stop as being one of the elite teams -- I would say one of the best four or five teams in the league -- and definitely would give themselves a chance to win a championship," Johnson said.
To sum up Magic's statements: Howard equals championship for Houston. You can bet Rockets GM Daryl Morey knows that and will be doing all he can to make sure Howard makes his home in the Bayou City.
