Lumberjacks lose in OT as skid reaches 9

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- Tevin Svihovec tied the game with a driving layup late in regulation, then won it with a similar play with a minute left in overtime as Northern Colorado snapped a four-game losing skid with a 64-62 victory over Northern Arizona on Monday night.

Emmanuel Addo tied a career high with 17 points and Tate Unruh added 16 points for the Bears (7-13, 4-5 Big Sky). Svihovec scored 11 points and Mike Proctor grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds.

James Douglas tied a career high with 22 points for the Lumberjacks (5-17, 1-9), who have lost nine straight. Michael Dunn tallied 13 points and nine rebounds, and Durrell Norman added 11 for Northern Arizona.

The nine-game skid is the Lumberjacks' longest losing streak since they dropped nine in a row during the 1995-96 season.
