Loki's Vengeance wins Belmont's Affirmed Success Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) Loki's Vengeance won the Affirmed Success Stakes for New York breds Sunday at Belmont Park.
The 4-year-old trained by Mike Hushion and ridden by Angel Cruz rallied up the fence to beat Empire Dreams by 1 3/4 lengths.
''I had the best trip in the race and went through on the rail,'' Cruz said. ''He did it all by himself.''
The time was 1:09.80 for six furlongs on the fast track.

Loki's Vengeance paid $25.20, $11.80 and $7.30 for his fourth victory in 12 starts.
Empire Dreams returned $17.40 and $8.30, and John's Island paid $4.10.
