DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) Little Jerry edged long-shot Boyett by a nose Thursday in the $78,000 feature race at Del Mar.
Ridden by Martin Pedroza and trained by Richard Baltas, Little Jerry ran 1 1/16 miles on the turf course in 1:40.49. The 5-year-old paid $12.60, $6.40 and $3.40 for his fifth victory in 29 starts.
Boyett returned $13 and $6.20, and Power Ped paid $2.60 to show.
