The Detroit Lions are turning to their practice squad to try to help restore their depleted secondary for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
The Lions confirmed Saturday that cornerback Mohammed Seisay, an undrafted rookie from Nebraska, has been promoted to the 53-man roster.
To make room for Seisay, the Lions released receiver Kevin Ogletree, who was inactive for both of the first two games.
The move to add Seisay comes after the Lions lost two cornerbacks -- Bill Bentley (knee) and Nevin Lawson (foot) -- to season-ending injuries. Another corner, Cassius Vaughn (ankle), is out for at least this week's game.
