For the third straight year, Francisco Lindor has been selected to play in the MLB Futures Game, which will be played on July 13 at Target Field in Minneapolis. Lindor was 0 for 1 in last year's game and 1 for 1 in 2012.

Lindor, who was the Indians' first-round pick in 2011, has hit in 15 of his last 18 games with Akron and is batting .301 over that span. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBI in the RubberDucks' 7-1 win over Erie on Monday.

This should be Lindor's last appearance in a Futures Game as almost everyone expect him to be called up at some point this season.
