The Lightning have signed fifth-round pick goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis to a three-year, two-way contract, general manager Steve Yzerman announced Friday.

Gudlevskis, 20, was the 124th overall selection of the NHL Draft and played in 56 games for HC Riga in Russia last season, amassing a .927 save percentage and a 2.09 goals-against-average.

The goalie has a handful of international experience, appearing for Latvia in the 2013 IIHF World Championships as well as in the 2012 World Junior Championships and has a chance to make the roster for the country for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
