Trade is complete
On Tuesday, the Tigers finalized their trade that sent Jeff Baker to the Atlanta Braves on Aug. 31.
The Tigers received right-handed pitcher Greg Ross as the player to be named later.
Ross, who will be assigned to Single-A Lakeland, was 7-9 with a 4.60 ERA and 106 strikeouts in 25 appearances (21 starts) with Single-A Rome this past season.
Ross turned 23 Sept. 6.
