TORONTO (AP) Lexie Lou won the $500,000 Woodbine Oaks for fillies Sunday, beating Wild Cantomine by 4 1/2 lengths.
Lexie Lou, ridden by Patrick Husbands, ran 1 1/8 miles in 1:49.77. The $300,000 winner's share boosted her lifetime earnings over $630,000.
Earlier, We Miss Artie won the $150,000 Plate Trial Stakes, the prep event for the Queen's Plate on July 6.
