Goals are what make life interesting. LeSean McCoy just made his 2014 season far more exciting.

The Eagles' star running back is aiming to reach 2,000 yards rushing this season.

That's the key question, right? Will he reach it? Nobody will question his talent, as he racked up 1,607 yards in 2013 on 314 carries. He's rushed for 5,473 yards in five NFL seasons.

The Eagles' offense under head coach Chip Kelly provides all kinds of opportunities for running backs to gain big chunks of yardage, so it's definitely a possibility. If McCoy reaches 2,000 yards, he'll join seven other players to have accomplished that feat: Eric Dickerson, Adrian Peterson, Jamal Lewis, Barry Sanders, Terrell Davis, Chris Johnson and O.J. Simpson.

Good luck, Shady!
