Leilani Munter didn't win Saturday's International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 ARCA race at Talladega Superspeedway -- she finished a respectable 14th-- but she might have had the best-looking car and she definitely had an all-star support cast.

Munter's car was sponsored by the film "Blackfish," or more correctly by The Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon, who ponied up $107,000 for sponsorship.

Simon, an animal rights activist, is terminally ill, but he was on hand for Saturday's race to lend his support.

Also joining Munter were fellow animal-rights activists Pamela Anderson, the former "Baywatch" star and ex-wife of Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, and actress Jennifer Tilly.

The movie "Blackfish" is a controversial documentary about Tilikum, or "Tilly," an orca whale in captivity at SeaWorld Orlando. Munter's car was painted to look like Tilly.

Munter's website motto? "Never underestimate a vegetarian hippie chick with a race car."
