Lecavalier, Upshall among Cosmo's hottest NHL players

They spend a lot of time on the cold ice, but turns out Florida Panthers left-winger Scottie Upshall and Tampa Bay Lightning center Vincent Lecavalier are rather hot, at least according to Cosmopolitan readers.

Cosmopolitan released its list of the hottest NHL players for 2013, and both Upshall (29 years old) and Lecavalier (32) were among the 30 players selected by Cosmo readers.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Upshall played in 26 games for Florida last year and is entering his second season with the Panthers.

Lecavalier, a 6-4, 208-pound veteran of 13 seasons — all with the Lightning — was the fourth-leading scorer for Tampa Bay last season, and some of his teammates think his inclusion on Cosmo's list is a little suspect.

"It was probably one of those vote-in things where he just sat in front of the computer and voted for himself a thousand times," center Steven Stamkos told the Lightning's official site. "That's the only way I could see him getting in."
