LeBron James serving jury duty in Akron Thursday

LeBron James is on jury duty today.
Really.
The four-time NBA MVP was summoned to the Summit County Courthouse in his hometown of Akron on Thursday for civil jury duty. In typical LeBron fashion, he tweeted about it and posted a picture of himself on Instagram preparing to go.
So, it probably won't be a typical day of court. It was unclear if James actually was picked for a jury or placed on a specific case.
James maintains a residence in Bath Township, west of Akron. Though he's had a typically busy summer, he applied in May to combine the two adjoining properties he owns and is building a car barn there to house some of his toys.
Apparently he won't be able to personally oversee the final stages of the project on Thursday. He's busy in the courtroom.
UPDATE - James was not selected for jury duty, and he left the courtroom at 10:30am.
